Pictured are Spennymoor Town Band with actor Tim Healey at the unveiling of the statue to commemorate West Auckland Football club's historic 1909 World Cup triumph. Sir John Hall and David "Ticer" Thomas, a descendant of one of the team, officiated at the ceremony on Saturday October 12th. The band enjoyed providing music while both BBC and ITV news cameras recorded the event.
