To help with the shortage of trombone players, the band has bought a new valve trombone. This will make it easier for a "valve player" to join the trombone section.
Anyone interested in joining the band, on trombone or any other instrument, is urged to contact the band or see the band in the town centre on November 20th.
Instruction can be arranged for adult learners and younger players are welcome at the Spennymoor Youth Band.
