Durham City's spectacular Wharton Park has recenty been transformed thanks to £3m from the Heritage Lottery and Big Lottery funds and Durham County Council.
Spennymoor Town Band were delighted to be part of the special sneak preview event for civic leaders, campaigners and schoolchildren, ahead of the reopening party at the weekend.
