It was once again a pleasure for Spennymoor Town Band (under the direction of Jonathan Fenwick) to accompany the hymns at the Drumhead Service on Armed Forces Day in Jubilee Park. The event was attended by Maura Regan the Deputy Lord Lieutenant representing the Queen, the Mayor of Spennymoor Ian Machin and his consort, war veterans, many youth cadets and members of the community.
