Spennymoor Town Band (Fiona Casewell) today played at the Byers Methodist Chapel Christmas Service, with over 200 in the congregation.
A lovely service led by Janet Titterton with lots of engagement with the children from the primary school. Great feedback on the band's festive peices throughout the evening, featuring a brilliant solo from David Richardson on Euphonium and a lovely rendition of Away in a Manger by Michael MacDonald (a member of the school choir and Spennymoor Youth Band).
