The beautiful Jubilee Park in Spennymoor played host to the Family Fun Day and Horticultural Show on Saturday the 8th September. Spennymoor Town Band rose to the occasion and looked as cheerful as the flowers - the floral displays around the bandstand and throughout the park are a credit to the town. The band sounded pretty good as well - playing a range of tunes from traditional marches to brass arrangements of chart-topping pop music.
