Ian Langthorne lead the band today at a well-attended 1950s Community Event in Spennymoor.

Also present was Berriman's Chip Van, refreshments and crafts from the era, quilting, and items from the studio of Spennymoor artist Norman Cornish; not to mention a fine brass band!

Listen out for us and a piece with our trasurer Mike Johnson on Radio Tees this afternoon after 4pm.

Many thanks to Beamish Museum for inviting us to be part of this special local celebration.
