Many thanks to everyone who attended the Spennymoor Town Band (Fiona Casewell) and Spennymoor Youth Band (Michael Franey) Christmas Concert this evening . A great atmosphere, lovely solo playing and brilliant communal singing. Thanks to all the helpers and for buying raffle tickets.

- Len Potts, Bands-person of the year - voted by members
- Daisy Burlison - most improved player in the Town Band
I was honoured and delighted, on behalf of the Durham County Brass Band Association, to present a certificate recognising 70 years dedicated service to the brass band movement to Neil Davies.
